These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding contract between you and PIXEL ML, INC. ("Pixel ML," "we" and "us"). Your use of the Services in any way means that you agree to all of these Terms, and these Terms will remain in effect while you use the Services. These Terms include the provisions in this document as well as those in the Privacy Policy.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY COVER IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SERVICES PROVIDED TO YOU. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, YOU MAY NOT USE OR ACCESS THE SERVICES IN ANY MANNER.

What is Claw Desktop?

Claw Desktop is the operator cockpit for OpenClaw agents. It is a local-first desktop application that enables you to review artifacts, see diffs and outputs, and resume agent runs that started on Slack or the web. Claw Desktop connects to your self-hosted OpenClaw instance—we do not host or proxy your agent runs.

Will these Terms ever change?

We are constantly trying to improve our Services, so these Terms may need to change along with our Services. We reserve the right to change the Terms at any time, but if we do, we will place a notice on our site located at claw.so, send you an email, and/or notify you by some other means.

If you don't agree with the new Terms, you are free to reject them; unfortunately, that means you will no longer be able to use the Services. If you use the Services in any way after a change to the Terms is effective, that means you agree to all of the changes.

What about my privacy?

Pixel ML, Inc. takes the privacy of its users very seriously. For the current Claw Privacy Policy, please see our Privacy Policy.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") requires that online service providers obtain parental consent before they knowingly collect personally identifiable information online from children who are under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a child under 13, please do not attempt to register for or otherwise use the Services or send us any personal information. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

What are the basics of using Claw?

Claw Desktop is a free download. You connect it to your self-hosted OpenClaw instance using your own API keys and host URLs. We do not store your credentials—they remain on your device.

You are responsible for any activity associated with your use of the Services.

Are there restrictions in how I can use the Services?

You represent, warrant, and agree that you will not use the Services or interact with the Services in a manner that:

  • Infringes or violates the intellectual property rights or any other rights of anyone else;
  • Violates any law or regulation;
  • Is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Jeopardizes the security of your account or anyone else's;
  • Attempts to obtain the password, account, or other security information from any other user;
  • Violates the security of any computer network, or cracks any passwords or security encryption codes;
  • Runs any processes that use an unreasonable amount of system resources;
  • Introduces viruses, worms, or similar harmful code into the Services.

Who Owns the Services and Content?

Our IP

The materials displayed or performed or available on or through the Services, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, data, articles, photos, images, illustrations, and so forth (all of the foregoing, the "Content") are protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property laws. You promise to abide by all copyright notices, trademark rules, information, and restrictions contained in any Content you access through the Services.

Your IP

Your files remain yours. Claw Desktop operates locally on your machine and connects directly to your OpenClaw instance. We do not claim ownership of any files, data, agent outputs, or content that you process using Claw Desktop. Any outputs generated through your use of the Services belong to you.

Do the Services cost anything?

Claw Desktop is free to download and use. We may offer premium features in the future. OpenClaw, the agent engine you connect to, is a separate open-source project and is also free.

What if I want to stop using the Services?

You're free to stop using the Services at any time. Simply uninstall Claw Desktop from your device. Since we don't store your data, there's nothing to delete on our end.

THE SERVICES AND ALL MATERIALS AND CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ON AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. PIXEL ML, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL PIXEL ML, INC. BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICES OR ANY MATERIALS OR CONTENT ON THE SERVICES.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Pixel ML, Inc. regarding your use of the Services. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
